Название: NYC - FiDi: Les Halles - Anthony Bourdain Memorial In the days following the news of Anthony Bourdain's death, fans paid tribute to him outside of both outposts of his now-closed former place of employment, Brasserie Les Halles. Brasserie Les Halles, at 15 John Street, was a French-brasserie style restaurant opened in 1990 by Philippe Lajaunie. Anthony Bourdain, a celebrity chef, author, travel documentarians and television personality spent many years as executive chef at Les Halles, which had two Manhattan locations as well as locations in Miami, Washington D.C., and Tokyo. Bourdain was found dead at the age of 61 on June 8, 2018 of an apparent suicide in his hotel room in Kayserberg, France.
